Stephen Merchant’s episode of Neal Brennan’s Blocks Podcast was released a couple of days ago: here

For anyone that doesn’t know why I would be talking about it on here…it’s kind of a “7 degrees of separation” thing (just not managing to hit the full 7).

• Neal Brennan is a good friend of Jimmy’s
• Jimmy came up with the idea for the Blocks podcast (which Neal regularly acknowledges) and they talk about it in in the firsr of these 2 pods
• More importantly Stephen has known and worked with Jimmy, on and off, for 25 years (see this tag for the evolving list of shows that they both featured on).

The picture below is from the first (and last) time that they tried stand up together, Edinburgh Fringe 2001 (with Ricky Gervais and Robin Ince). A 4 man “sketch” show, called Rubbernecker.
