January 2018 saw Jimmy still on his Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits tour. When he headed down under the tour looked something like:

• Jan 8^th to 12^th Australia
• Jan 15^th to 22^nd New Zealand
• Jan 24^th to 31^st Australia

Later returning, to Australia, to perform from Feb 18^th to March 3^rd.

On Jan 18^th Chortle published a story about Jimmy breaking his right wrist that references the video, below, of an interview on The Project NZ. Ignore the video publication date, on YouTube, as I think this show’s record was Monday 15^th Jan (see references in this interview with Stuff.co.nz).

But enough of the background of where he was and on what date.

He broke his wrist quad biking with his friend, Russell Crowe. There was no update on how the tree that “came out of nowhere” was doing.

I’m sure many people will be surprised to think of our man in a tailored suit going quad biking and the rest of you are probably thinking “friends with Russell Crowe?”. Yup. And they have been known to drink up a storm together and both invested in Muff Liquor.

In this video (The Project New Zealand) then NZ PM Jacinda Ardern is also a guest and, is it just me, or is she flirting with him??
