Back in 2021 we saw the first series of I Literally Just Told You (ILJTY) on C4. The brain child of Richard Bacon it is hosted by Jimmy and (up to the end of 2024) it’s been 4 hit series (so far).

I’ve explained in this post what I am referring to (re the Nonsensical AI) and this next example relates to an interview that Richard did with Jimmy in November 2010 (see here).

Because the Full Audio file that I’d heard years ago (on YouTube) had been removed (for copyright infringement) I had searched to try and find a BBC clip. If one existed.

The AI Overview below is from Google and was a result of trying to find this interview (on July 1^st).

On July 2nd the panel looks as below – although I can’t recall whether I used the exact same search terms. Because I was connected to my Google account and performed several searches for this radio show – I suspect that has affected the output.

What we have with the first image is an example of how AI can delivery you complete nonsense (telling you that a 2021 show was in 2010) and then a different version which, while closer to the truth is STILL wrong.

The interview that I was searching for was November 2010.

I knew about the March TCT interview but, had I not already known about both of these Radio shows, I might have accepted this reference to the March interview as being the ONLY one Jimmy had done that year.

So, closer…but still not accurate enough.
