In March 2020 a Scot documentary maker (Olivia Strong) started a charity campaign where by people had to run, walk or cycle 5km, donate £5 to charity and then nominate 5 others.
Most people referred to it as the “5k challenge” but it was officially Run For Heroes.
As well as getting people to start running, it raised over £7m for NHS charities.
Mo Farah completed the run on April 15th and nominated:

Jimmy completed his 5k on April 22nd and nominated

- Philip Schofield
- Amit Bhatia
- Russell Crowe
- Ant and Dec
