December 19th 2011 the Imperial War Museum hosted The Sun Military Awards, aka The Millies (The Sun is a UK tabloid). The event was named A Night of Heroes.

The evening was televised on ITV.

The Ministry of Defence carried the story (here) and Jimmy presented an award alongside Patsy Palmer (actress). He was quoted as saying:

Some of the awards are heartbreakers with young men and women in their prime who were badly injured and there is not a dry eye in the house. But this award just feels like a massive success story. It’s brilliant.

I’m assuming this Image of Jimmy & Karoline with 42 Commando (who won Best Unit) relates to the award that he presented.
