October 30^th 1999 was a comedy night at Hotspots Comedy Club, The Academy, Cleveland Road, Uxbridge.

I’m guessing this is University of Brunel and The Academy is within the Union Building. It may have changed in the last 26+ years – but the site says the capacity of the room is currently 600.

The adverts say the gig is sponsored by Carlsberg Ice Beer Comedy Network and that this is the Winner of the 1999 comedy venue of the year.

I’m assuming the tie-in to the Union because of the pricing (NUS is National Union of Students, for anyone not from the UK).

• £6.50 non NUS on the door

The line up listing had Andy’s name twice as big as anyone else’s and he was identified as “special guest”, so assume he was the headliner:
