Up The Creek Too was located at 3 Brighton Road, South Croydon and differs from Up The Creek (302 Creek Road, Greenwich, London, SE10 9SW).
Friday May the 4th 2001 saw Jimmy at Up The Creek Too, appearing with:
- Pierre Hollins with John Mann
- Jimmy Carr
- Daniel Kitson
Show start time was 7.30pm and tickets were £10 / £6 concessionary.
Other Up The Creek Too gigs are here.
Who else was gigging?
At this same venue the Saturday 5th gig featured:
- Justin Lee Collins with John Mann
- Nick Wilty and Mandy Knight
Again, 7.30pm start but tickets for this evening were £14 / £10.
Over at Up The Creek in Greenwich (May 4th) we had:
- David Haddingham with Daniel Kitson
- Jo Rooney and John Mann
8pm start with tickets at £10 / £6. I explained in this earlier post that these 2 venues are around 22 minutes apart, which is why Daniel Kitson could appear at both, on the 4th.
Sunday May 6th Up The Creek featured the club owner, Malcolm Hardee (see here for his background):
- Malcolm Hardee with Helen da Silva
- Patrick McDonnell and Jo Rooney
Another 8pm start and, not sure whether this was a typo, but tickets are listed as £4 / £6.

Background
At this stage Jimmy was just performing above pubs and “going on stage after strippers” (his words) so there was no tour name in 2001. Just driving up and down the UK, sometimes doing 2-3 different venues a night and hoping to get enough money to cover his petrol money.
In August he performed the Rubbernecker revue at Edinburgh (here).
There is a page (here) about the UK Comedy Circuit.
