Annie MacManus (also known as Annie Mac) is a “DJ, writer and broadcaster” who used to be on BBC Radio 1.
She has a podcast (Changes with Annie MacManus) and S7 Ep4 featured Jimmy Carr. Released on October 4th 2021 you can listen here (or whichever podcast player you use).
It’s 46 minutes long but Jimmy doesn’t actually appear until the 3-minute mark, so you can drop in at that point, if you wanted.
The hardback version of Before and Laughter had been published on September 30th and this was one of the many promotional appearances that Jimmy made on podcast, radio etc. to talk about the book.
Sean Lock had died on August 16th and they also touched on that, what lockdowns had been like and becoming a father for the first time.
