Which comedians were selling the most DVDs in the UK in 2004?

On November 8^th 2004 Jimmy released his first DVD – Live (see here). This was material from the Charm Offensive tour.

The highest position for this DVD, in the UK, was #46.

Their data for all DVD sales (not just comedy) says:

• This title charted between November 20^th 2004 and January 1^st 2005
• Top 100 – 7 weeks
• Top 75 – 3 weeks
• Top 50 – 2 weeks
• Highest position #46 on January 1^st 2005

The January chart covered the period from December 26^th.

The 2004 chart list (here) has a chunk missing from the middle (same issue as with the 2007 releases). Best Seller site also has the listing but is slightly different in that all 3 of the below are 1 place higher on Amazon.

For anyone that is wondering why there is a discrepancy between the first chart listing, above, and Amazon – back in 2004 most people would buy their DVDs from stores like Woolworths or record shops (like HMV).

Which means the UK charts represent all sales EXCEPT for Amazon.
