On Jokes (Jimmy’s new book, on writing comedy) is not out until October 22nd 2026 and yet is already doing well on the Amazon charts.
I’m not sure why the Amazon.com (US) chart placings are so much higher than the UK ones. Does it mean the UK buy more books than the US? Would that make the chart more competitive?
As usual – it’s as clear as mud as to where the sales numbers are coming from.
I checked a few random countries and Norway shows the Amazon.com positions, Spain and Australia show no charts at all and Germany have their own numbers.
Plus, how on earth has it been categorised as a biography?
It was making my head hurt…so I gave up (for this week).
