Before and Laughter had been released on September 30th and, as a part of the promotion, Jimmy did a Before and Laughter Book Tour.
He was on his tour called Terribly Funny 2.0 and 5 of the gigs, in major cities, got to see the stand-up routine and then Stuart Goldsmith came out to chat to Jimmy about the book. The list of cities is on the B&L post here and the clip below is from October 11th 2021 at The Savoy Theatre, London.
In this video they start off chatting about the infamous Carrot in a Box game from 8 Out of 10 Cats, S18 Xmas show in 2015 (post and video here – starts at 1.15).
Jimmy says that him and Jon were not keen but that Sean wanted to do it…which is funny as, in the actual game Sean pretends to call it stupid and doesn’t want to play.
Back to the interview, below, and Jimmy then goes on to speak about his friendship with Rachel Riley and having to phone her up to tell her he’s written a joke about her.
Other clips from this interview are here.
