When this podcast was first released (April 19^th 2024) it was called Development by David. It’s since been renamed to Origin Story, with interviews still conducted by David McIntosh Jr

I’ve titled my post with the original name or I’ll get confused (search will work on both versions).

Recorded in London on March 13^th 2024 it was originally called Jimmy Carr: Why Narcissists NEVER Laugh – but has now been renamed Jimmy Carr – Use Mind Games & Live Better

If there’s 1 piece of advice that I would give David it would be DO NOT rename things, post launch, unless you really, really have to. The YouTube video has a link to /developmentbydavid that is broken and the write-ups that he got in the Daily Mail are under the old channel name. When you are trying to get something like this off the ground – changing the name of something means you can lose mentions / connections.

He did well, though, to get 2 stories in the DM and one on Yahoo! (from the Daily Record) – here.

David mentions in the video blurb that him and his sister lived in a council house in Ayrshire and that his hero, Jimmy, was his gateway drug into comedy.
