Comic To Comic was a BBC Radio Scotland 30 minute show that ran from 2005-06 (13 episodes). Host, Bruce Morton, chatted to a different comic each episode about what had influenced them and their career.

Jimmy appeared on S2 Ep1 that was first broadcast in January 2006 (see here). They apparently talked about his career, life on tour and writing comedy routines.

At this stage of his career his tour was Off The Telly – but he was a big enough deal to have appeared on Conan twice already – with a Jan 2006 return (see here).

It appears it was repeated on BBC Radio 7 (R7) in 2007-8 and then again, in 2025, on BBC Radio 4 Extra (R4).

It begs the question how many radio channels do they need?

No copies online, that I can find. There was one on Archive.org but the copyright owner has had it removed. Annoyingly it still comes up in Search engines – so you get a rush of excitement…then disappointment.
