Bit of a random reference – Ross Noble’s Randomist DVD 2006.

A fandom site said that there was a running gag between Ross and Jimmy (about gig duration) and that the DVD featured a clip of Jimmy punching Ross on the way back to his dressing room. Can’t confirm that part as there are no clips of it online.

The joke was that Ross had been ragging on Jimmy, during his show, saying that he only performed for a “weak” 1 hour 20, whereas Ross was doing 2.5 hours.

This story is borne out by the end credits of the Randomist DVD here as it says:

Jimmy Carr DVDs are available at www.jimmycarr.com

They’re just not quite as long as this.
