Which comedians were selling the most DVDs in the UK in 2008?

Jimmy’s fourth DVD, In Concert, was released November 3^rd 2008 (here) and the material is from the tour Repeat Offender.

The highest position for this DVD was #33.

Their data for all DVD sales (not just comedy) says:

• This title charted for 8 weeks, between November 15^th 2008 and January 3^rd 2009
• Entered the charts at #33, its highest position
• Was in the Top 100 for 8 weeks
• Was in the Top 75 for 7 weeks
• Was in the Top 40 for 2 weeks (it had returned to #34 on December 27^th 2008, having risen from #52 the previous week)

I’m going to have to give up looking at the Amazon website version (here) as all of their charts seem to have numbers 31-50 missing (this one did go as high as 48).

Using the Bestseller website (here) which says it is data, from Amazon, for the whole of 2008:

As I mentioned on the 2004 chart page (for the Live DVD) back in 2008 most people would buy their DVDs from stores like Woolworths or record shops (like HMV).

Which means the UK Charts (above) represent all sales EXCEPT for Amazon.
