Intro, Sept 1st 2026
Because incoming statistics show me that many people land upon blog pages through search (or via a chatbot of some flavour) I started a while back to try and tailor post wording to make sense as a stand-alone text. Which means a bit of repetition…but, hey ho.
At least, if you look at the posts for the other social account totals, you will be able to skip this intro section!! It will be identical on all of these pages today.
This mini project is my regular perusal of what started out as around 100 comedians from UK / US and one from India. Over time this number has been whittled down – and the “why” and how the starts are collected are detailed on the Reporting page (here).
It’s been two months since I last analysed the data and those previous links are:

This time around we are down to 27 people as the June combined numbers had Stavros Halkias and Andrew Santino at the bottom of the table.
John Mulaney and Peter Kay are looking vulnerable for next time!!
As ever – Golden squares indicate Top 3 Brits and the Blue are Top 3 US / India.
Note also that Joe Rogan is a bit of an anomaly as the accounts are mostly his podcast (Joe Rogan Experience) which skews the numbers massively.
TikTok Followers
This first view highlights two things: (1) the huge advantage in being American (bigger demographic audience) and (2) that not everyone has a TikTok account – which is why we only have 22 names.
When I get to the post that sums up the 5 platforms you will be able to see who is missing.
This 2nd one is more interesting, sorted by the variance column. For Mr C to pick up 100k across two months in the summer hols is pretty good going.
Def better than losing followers!
And it looks even better when we add the variance column for 2026 to date. Growth of 568k is a lot more than all of the other Brits combined (180k).
Although, compared to the growth of Instagram and Facebook accounts these numbers, across the board, are fairly low.
Is this age verification impacting or is it just that comedy fans prefer other platforms??
TikTok Likes
I can’t get at the Views figures for TikTok any more (free online counter died) so the next best thing is to use Likes.
Jimmy’s Likes rate is 9.05% overall – which is pretty decent. I’ll let you try and work out from that what his overall View ballpark may be.
- 4% – Avergage
- 5%+ – Good
- 10%+ – Excellent / Viral
Handful of examples (Likes rate), from our list, which probably reflects age demographic behaviour in some way:
- Max Amini – 5.81%
- Matt Rife – 12.73%
- Kevin Hart – 3.6%
- Theo Von – 10.39%
- Jack Whitehall – 9.84%
- Russell Howard – 10.52%
- Michael McIntyre – 7.29%
This view, below, of Likes total put Jack ahead of Jimmy and everyone a long way behind Matt Rife. Hardly surprising as, after being a stand-up and working in TV Matt first went viral on this platform in 2022 and has used it to good effect ever since.
Changing the view to show the variance, for the last 2 months, Jimmy’s Likes growth puts him in 1st place overall (for Brits). Quite surprised to see Tom Segura hot on his heels.
I think I may have said this last time I looked at the stats – no idea how Max Amini has managed those numbers. Apparently, he’s on tour (isn’t everyone?) and has been pumping out crowdwork clips (again, hasn’t everyone?). But hats off to him.
