In 2015 Montreal’s Just For Laughs (JFL) comedy festival ran from July 8^th to 28^th and Jimmy Carr attended for an 11^th time. The post for the actual festival is here.

While in Canada he performed at a charity event that had been organised by JFL and Comedy Gives Back (CGB). The event (on the afternoon of the 23^rd) was at the Hope & Cope Cancer Wellness Centre (which supports people living with cancer).

This annual event had been started by Australian comedian Adam Hills and this year featured:

Jimmy has always enthused about how people in hospice care have such a lust for life, especially loving to laugh. With that in mind he’s not one to shy away from a dark joke and this year he tried out:

I hope I don’t die here. Mainly because the irony would kill me.
