Hope & Cope Cancer Wellness Centre is in Montreal, Canada and Jimmy had already performed for them in 2012 and 2015.
Back in Montreal for Just For Laughs 2017 (JFL) with his Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits tour he squeezed in another visit on the afternoon of July 27th. The comedians trying to bring a couple of hours of laughter into these people’s lives this year were:

- Gina Yashere
- Jimmy Carr

As a lover of using the power of dark humour to skewer the downsides of life (and someone that had been to this sort of event before) Jimmy went for it with jokes like these two:
- We’d best get on with it, we don’t have much time. [Pause] Well, I do
- I’m worried about dying up here, but given the context, that wouldn’t be so bad
