BBC Choice started a show (called Liquid News) on May 30^th 2001, hosted by Christopher Price. For more information on what the show was like there’s an article here and, on YouTube, lots of clips and full shows. It was decommissioned in April 2004.

I’m still trying to find specific dates but a handful of press articles, from 2001, describe Jimmy as a “regular on Liquid News”. Including this BBC Lincolnshire story from November 2001.

I’m adding it as “Jimmy made appearances in 2001” and will keep trying to find episode dates.

This wasn’t his first TV work but it WAS an early example of him being on an interview couch type show (unscripted).

Prior to this he’d been a writer for other people and also appeared in Jimmy Carr’s World of Corporate Videos (here), Show Me The Funny (here) and The 11 O’Clock Show (here).
