Most social platforms don’t let you view another account’s viewing figures – but there are free counters that display numbers for YouTube and TikTok. This post is a comparison of the views for those platforms.

Earlier statistics related posts had a lot of caveats and explanations on them that were getting repetitious. To improve efficiency, I’ve moved all of that text to a Reporting page (hidden from search engines) so that I can link to it from within posts.

TikTok Views

Not only are we down to 17 names – but, of those, 6 have TikTok counters that have been stuck since December 31^st.

This messes up accurate analysis – but they are not in either of the top 3’s, so I’ll persevere.

This first image is sorted by column E and, as usual, the US account numbers dwarf those of the Brits. Jimmy’s views are up 3.6m in two months – so not too shabby.

Jack Whitehall being 7^th in the view above is now 10^th I the one below. But. He’s someone else with a malfunctioning counter (here). Checked back on the 26^th and it’s still not moving and Jimmy’s is at the same number as on the 23^rd. Very hit and miss with that particular API connector.

Sarah Millican has faired better though as she’s moved from 16^th to 8^th, with 553,200 views in 2 months.

YouTube Views

The YouTube data is better as none of the counters were malfunctioning.

Jimmy’s total is a little more than double that of his closest Brit, Russell Howard, and Jack Whitehall’s total is half again of Russell’s.

This view, sorted by column F, is quite a contrast to TikTok in that Jimmy’s account is in 2^nd place. Still a long way behind Max Amini – but a better ranking than his TikTok account’s growth of 3.6m.

Combined Views

It’s a pity that so many of the TikTok numbers are low – but I suspect that the top half of this view would look much the same anyway as the names of the top 3 Brits / Americans don’t tend to change.

Hopefully, next time I run these numbers, counters will have started moving again.
